Five 2030s Who Could Someday Fit Into An SEC Lineup

Rucker was selected to the Minority Softball Prospects All-American game on a team led by Georgia sophomore Tyah Charlton, and she was the youngest player at MSP's national showcase in September. At the Champions Elite Fall Showcase, Orebaugh went 3-0 with two no-hit outings and threw 10 innings without letting up a run. She also added six hits and a home run at the plate. While there, she threw 13.1 innings and struck out 12 batters, while also hitting .417 with two home runs. At the Ray Seymour Invitational in October, Flanagan hit a home run while batting .615 and collected 12 strikeouts in just nine innings of work. At the Show Me the Money tournament, she drove in the game-winning run against Five Star Mafia in a tight 3-2 game. Velazquez pitched three innings against a tough Athletics Gold lineup in Clearwater and let up just one run after pitching earlier that day. In that same event, she also threw a four-inning shutout against Texas Glory and allowed one earned run in a win over the Atlanta Vipers. She also pitched 5.2 innings at the event. She helped her team to a second-place showing at the Birmingham Thunderbolts showcase, going 2-for-3 at the plate and pitching eight innings in the complete-game, extra-inning win against the host team. Earlier that day, she went 3-for-3 at the plate with a run scored against Farm System Prospects.
