Top 2030 Prospects To Watch In Georgia

As the high school softball regular season winds down across Georgia, new names are rising through the pipelines that are establishing statewide—and possibly even national—profiles.   From Alexander to Waycross, the Peach State is one consistently teeming with top-tier softball talent. No exception to this rule is Georgia's 2030 class. Here are some of those names.    Emily Matson is a product of Five Star Fastpitch 2011. Hebron Christian has been one of the winningest teams in Georgia as of late – this season's version of the Lions finished their 2025 campaign with a 26-2 record not to mention going a perfect 10-0 on their home diamond. The right-handed pitcher and utility player is a multi-sport athlete who also participates in the track realm as a pole vaulter. Matson recently recovered from a left wrist injury over the summer and is now looking to be more dangerous than ever at the plate, in the circle and in the field. White recently concluded her junior varsity season at Carrollton, and as evidenced by the back-to-back home runs she slugged, she finished with a flourish. This past summer, White helped her Athletics Gold Tamborra/Vallery 14U team to a national championship at the 14U Alliance Fastpitch Championship Series in Indiana. The Trojans concluded the 2025 regular season with a 22-4 record, and one can expect Carrollton to be a program to be reckoned with in the 6A ranks as long as White is around.     Carrollton can brag about how it has not only one but two of the state's premier 2030s who will soon sport its colors on its 6A varsity team. While she can hit for power, Riley Rucker can also throw defenses off balance, as she is willing to bunt her way on base and/or advance runners who are already on base. During the summer with TN Mojo Ogletree 2011, she wanted to emphasize her ability to steal bases—she had 35 throughout her club campaign. Rucker also had a goal of 50 hits during this season of travel ball, and she had 61. Carrollton debuted its new synthetic grass field this season, and next year's debut of top-tier 2030 prospects like Rucker should ensure the Trojans remain in the win column more often than not.     Speaking of young prospects who are looking to make waves on teams that know plenty about winning, Anglin enters the chat. Anglin is a two-sport athlete who also finds success on the basketball court in addition to her softball accolades. She is wrapping up her middle school career at Loganville MS and is sure to build a wide-ranging profile when she takes her talents to 5A Loganville. As Anglin has displayed as a travel prospect with Georgia Impact Premier 11 Cleghorn, she can hit home runs against more experienced high school pitching. The Red Devils recently wrapped up a 23-3 regular season and the team will continue to give opponents fits once they notice Anglin is in that Loganville dugout.     The junior varsity team for Newnan concluded the 2025 season with a record of 10-7-1. Cheyanne Martinez did the most she could, and then some, with the playing time she was allotted. She batted .636 with seven singles, two doubles and a triple. Martinez has also received high marks for her defense behind the plate. In addition to being part of her team's battery as a catcher, she will also find time at third base. Martinez is a product of Impact Caymol 2029/2030 Martinez and is looking ahead to a future with 5A Newman when she becomes a freshman next year.     Kyndall Jones' travel career previously saw her wear the uniform of Georgia Impact Lowery 12U, and she now runs with Firecrackers GA Wooley 2011 14U. She currently plays at Creekland MS and can look forward to her high school career with 6A Collins Hill. Jones is a three-sport athlete who also excels as a runner and basketball player. As a catcher, she defies conventional wisdom that says being behind the plate may not translate to success at the dish. It has, and then some, for Jones. She also recently received an invite to USA Softball's High Performance Program National Selection Event this December in Florida.
