Five 2025 Left-Handed Pitchers To Watch

This year's high school senior class is loaded with talent, and especially talent in the form of left-handed pitchers. College softball's future aces are preparing to make their collegiate debuts in early 2026, but before then, they still have work to do on the prep level to finish their high school and club careers strong.   Below, we examine five left-handed pitchers to watch this season from the 2025 recruiting class.    Little is a force in the circle and a Georgia commit with a bright future ahead of her. Competing on the club level for Tennessee Mojo 2025 - Gregory, Little spins it well, with a particularly effective changeup and a devastating curveball that comes in especially hard and tight on right-handed hitters with late, breaking movement. Expect Little to make an immediate impact for the Bulldogs when she arrives on campus next fall.     Cable will make her way from the Tampa area all the way to Los Angeles for her college career at UCLA. As dominant a force as it gets in the circle at the prep level, Cable is a lefthander who can get hitters to swing and miss at an extremely high rate. Her high-velocity arsenal leads to an inordinate amount of strikeouts, and combined with her grit in the circle, that's a recipe for disaster for opponents in the batter's box.     Linton, a PGF All-American and national champion, is a high-profile Clemson commit with the stuff to back it up in the circle. She's also a high school state champion out of Tennessee and a serious threat at the dish. To boot, Linton is one of the fittest pitchers in her class and has a real opportunity to be Clemson's next big dual-threat star.     Dempsey is a new addition to the elite Tennessee Mojo - Ramsey/Fisher squad, and will compete with the team ahead of the start of her collegiate playing career at UCF. The two-time All-State selection and conference player of the year out of Wisconsin also swings a hot bat in addition to being an ace in the circle. Dempsey was a 2024 PGF Nationals 16U Platinum runner-up with GTS 16U Elite - Gonzalez over the summer.     A left-handed force out of California who spins the ball extremely well, McNamara has a bright future ahead of her at Boise State. The All-CIF and All-County first-team selection is a star both in the circle and at the plate, earning South Coast League MVP honors last spring in a loaded division. Expect her to make some serious noise with her Tesoro squad as a senior.
