Wylie Dodson is turning heads this fall with her impressive combination of defensive instincts, speed, and offensive production. A natural middle infielder, Dodson makes difficult plays look routine with her quick feet, sharp reaction time, and willingness to lay out for diving stops. Her speed is equally dangerous on the bases, where she consistently puts pressure on opposing defenses. During a September tournament, Dodson delivered an outstanding performance, batting .667 with 12 hits, one home run, two triples, 14 runs scored, eight RBIs, and an incredible 14 stolen bases across seven games. She also went the entire tournament without striking out, helping her team secure a runner-up finish.
