About 70 miles west of Lincoln, Neb., you will find the city of Aurora, home to the Aurora Huskies and the speedy Vivi Fahrnbruch. In only 13 games, Fahrnbruch has 20 stolen bases to lead the team as of this writing. Combined with her freshman campaign, she has 38 career stolen bases with plenty of games left to go. It does, of course, help that she gets on base quite often. So far in her sophomore season, she has a .591 on-base percentage, along with a .448 batting average, 24 runs scored, 13 hits, 10 RBIs, two doubles, three triples, and one home run. She also has a good eye at the plate and continues to limit her strikeouts. More importantly, she is the type of player who brings excitement to the team and to the fans in the stands.
