Stella Christie starred both behind and at the plate this spring against strong competition in the Orlando area. She batted .418 with six doubles, four homers and 30 RBI in 28 games, walking more than she struck out and playing error-free defense with 12 assists. Christie can drive the ball out of the park to all parts of the field and can smoke line drives through the infield as well. Her pop time could still be better, but she has a strong arm and does not even need to leave her crouch to throw out would-be base stealers at second. Christie has been to camps at Florida, Florida State, Georgia Southern, USF and Florida International, and should see no shortage of interest come September.
