Expert Analysis
Owen Kaelble | Prep Softball Scout
Facing competition a few years older and more experienced than you may seem daunting to some, but not to Sophia Nourie. Filling in for Fury Platinum 14u, Nourie was sensational in the circle with 10 strikeouts and only one earned run allowed against 32 batters. She had a strike percentage of 72%, and contributed with the bat as well. Her consistency throwing strikes has been part of her game for a while. During the spring season, she led her team with 69 strikeouts, and picked up eight wins. She also already has a list of accolades. Earlier this year, she played for the USSSA Peach State All Stars.
