How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Shannon has great command pitching and speed. She commands the mound and demands a high level of play from her teammates and brings the game play to a high level when taking step on the mound.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Shannon is hard working and dedicated to everything she does. She is also kind and compassionate and a loyal, true friend. She brightens every room and has a kind heart.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned to become assertive but caring as a role as a leader and a team player. I will always put the team over self. I care about the betterment of the community and love to get involved in local activities and organizations for fundraising and community service.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I suffer from hearing loss in my left ear which has changed the way I train and respond to my game. I have learned to use visual cues from batters and coaches more than verbal cues. I feel that I have become a stronger pitcher due to my keen perception to these mannerisms needing to adjust for this deficit.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to find a college that values academics and athletics and I can be a contributing player for my team. I would love to be able to be involved in the campus community and thrive in the culture immediately upon arriving. I find a team that feels like family is a key to a successful championship mindset.
