How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

One batter at a time. When I'm on the mound I focus on getting the batter to hit a routine grounder in the first few pitches or go for the strikeout if I have several pitches on them. I try to focus mainly on movement and I'm working on speed changes with each pitch.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I can be quiet until I get to know people.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

In my free time, I like to help younger pitchers work on their mechanics. I also help my neighbor bale and put up hay every summer.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had an accident with a pitchfork my freshman season and had a problem gripping the bat, so I worked harder at switch hitting. I was able to bat left in most of the games until my hand healed.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm interested in going to a college, preferably on the East Coast, but I'm not opposed to other locations. I think I want to major in animal science or biology and possibly go to school to be a livestock veterinarian. I'm not picky, as long as they offer biology degrees and softball, I'll be happy.
