Pharyn Chandler is proving she can handle the challenge of playing well above her age group. The 2032 right-handed pitcher competed in the 14U division at the PGF Top 50 Showcase and made an impact both in the circle and at the plate. Chandler hit .500 while driving in three runs and scoring five times. In 3.1 innings of work in the circle, she struck out five batters while allowing just one walk. A multi-sport athlete who also plays basketball, Chandler brings athleticism and competitiveness to the field. Holding her own against 14U competition at such a young age is an encouraging sign of what is ahead for this developing pitcher.
