About Olivia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Competitive catcher/shortstop who brings energy, communication, and leadership to the field. I take pride in my work ethic, mental game, and being someone my teammates can rely on.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try to bring a positive and resilient mindset to the game by staying confident, learning from mistakes, and focusing on the next play. I’m caring, competitive, and outgoing, and I enjoy encouraging my teammates and bringing energy to the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed strong leadership and teamwork skills through softball by learning how to communicate, support my teammates, and stay positive in competitive situations. As a catcher especially, I’ve learned how important confidence, accountability, and encouraging others can be for the team

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One challenge I’ve faced on the field has been developing confidence as a leader and communicator. Earlier on, being vocal and taking charge on the field felt uncomfortable for me, so I had to work hard to step outside my comfort zone and grow into that role. I’ve also worked on developing a “next play” mindset by learning how to move past mistakes and frustrations quickly so I can stay focused an

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m interested in schools anywhere in the Southeast. I’d love to stay in Tennessee if possible, but I’m definitely open to surrounding states too. Florida would be really cool as well. I think as I get older and figure out what I want to major in, I’ll start narrowing down specific schools more.
