About Noelle

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a versatile utility player who can play any position, including pitching, second base, and outfield. I play aggressively and stay alert, always ready to dive or communicate to help my teammates. On the bases, I’m fast, fearless, and strategic. In the outfield, I make strong, accurate throws. At the plate, I read pitches early, rarely strike out, and consistently find ways to get on base.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m dedicated, disciplined, and constantly working to improve—I spend much of my spare time training at different facilities to build strength, prevent injuries, and sharpen my skills. I believe talent grows through consistent effort, learning, and pushing through challenges. On the field, I stay calm under pressure, make quick decisions, and adapt fast to whatever the game demands.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve earned Highest Academic Honors throughout high school and was a member of the Junior National Honor Society. I volunteer with younger softball teams, helping the head coach and supporting player development. I’m also involved in Active Minds at my school, promoting mental health awareness and positive school culture.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve built strong leadership and teamwork skills by helping coach younger softball players, especially with pitching, and serving as a positive mentor. I welcome new players, encourage teammates, and help everyone reset quickly after mistakes. I also show responsibility by arriving prepared, greeting everyone, and setting up equipment without being asked.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A few years ago, I suffered an injury sliding into second, and doctors discovered a torn hip labrum. I was told surgery might end my ability to play, so I committed to over a year of physical therapy while continuing to compete. I’m grateful the therapy worked, and the experience strengthened my resilience, determination, and love for the game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college where I feel supported by professors, staff, and the softball program. I want a campus with things to do but not an overwhelming or crowded environment. I hope to meet new people and build lasting friendships, and I’m looking for a school that will guide me in choosing the right courses and getting the most out of my degree.
