Cable will make her way from the Tampa area all the way to Los Angeles for her college career at UCLA. As dominant a force as it gets in the circle at the prep level, Cable is a lefthander who can get hitters to swing and miss at an extremely high rate. Her high-velocity arsenal leads to an inordinate amount of strikeouts, and combined with her grit in the circle, that’s a recipe for disaster for opponents in the batter’s box.
