Scott played at the high school JV level during her seventh-grade season at Barnwell, getting in 24 innings of work and striking out 53 opponents. At the club level in the spring, Scott played with Georgia Impact and was an important arm for the team. She finished May with a complete-game win against 14U competition, allowing just three hits while recording one at the plate. The top pitchers never take a pitch off, and Scott is no exception with her demeanor and skill in the circle.
