About Molly

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a vocal, high-energy utility player who brings constant communication and positive encouragement to the field. I play with confidence and awareness, whether I’m on the mound, in the field, or at the plate. I take pride in doing whatever the team needs—making the smart play, supporting my teammates, and maintaining a competitive but composed presence throughout the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a team-first athlete with a calm, mentally tough approach to competition. Growing up as a pitcher helped me develop resilience, focus, and the ability to quickly reset after adversity. I embrace the utility role and value team success over individual recognition. I am coachable, self-motivated, and consistently bring a positive, steady mindset in practice and games.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Co-Founder, World News Club Member, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Group Head Tour Guide and Blue House Team Leader Selected by my school for an Arts & History Study Abroad Program in London this March. Recipient of the Leadership & Sportsmanship Award, chosen from my entire grade prior to entering high school

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a three-sport athlete, I have developed strong leadership, teamwork, time-management, and communication skills. I balance a demanding athletic schedule with academics and maintain close, supportive friendships. I have been recognized for my character, work ethic, and ability to elevate those around me. I also volunteer with Special Olympics, which has strengthened my commitment to service.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

After my freshman year, I realized that my original high school was not the right fit for me academically, socially, or athletically. Making the decision to transfer required maturity and courage, but it ultimately proved to be the best choice for my growth and confidence. The experience strengthened my independence and self-awareness, and I have since thrived both in and out of the classroom!

What type of college are you looking for?

I am seeking a college that challenges me academically while also offering a supportive, team-first athletic environment. I’m drawn to schools with a close-knit campus feel, meaningful connections with professors, and a softball program that values culture, communication, and growth. I want to be part of a community that supports me as both a student and an athlete.
