Mia Cabral has kept herself busy this fall, even while playing in a part of the country where many top college coaches don’t recruit much. She has a mechanically sound swing with extra-base power, and handles any ball hit her way at second base, shortstop, and third base, from hot shots to bunts. In the spring, Cabral had a .667 batting average and a 1.817 OPS with a perfect fielding percentage, leading her team to an undefeated record. When not on the field, Cabral can be found in the batting cage, weight room, and any other indoor training space she can find. This fall, she is playing in tournaments in Connecticut, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida, establishing herself as one of the top middle infielders in New England.
