About Mckenzie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m always ready to play, I love talking on the field and making a bond with my teammates while playing my best.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a very open and honest person and I like when coaches are straight forward but can be fun.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in FFA.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Over the years softball has gave me a lot of qualities like leadership. I’m more of a silent leader I don’t like going around telling people I like to be in control but it shows on the field. I also love teamwork and I think it’s very important to thrive as a team. I’ve also had the opportunity to help my community through food pantry’s and helping out during athletic events.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have went through a hard mental stage coming into my sophomore year and thought about giving up softball because I was so overwhelmed. But I pushed through and now I’m looking to continue playing through my college career.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a smaller D2 or D3 that’s close to home (Wv) so somewhere in PA, WV, OH, MD. I like small campus’s but also ones that have a nursing major.
