About Maleia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Energetic, enthusiastic, a little intense but a lot of fun!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a very quiet person outside of softball and have a small circle of great friends. During softball, I am one of the people that cheers the loudest and it always encouraging everyone. On the field, I am fierce competitor and never back down from a hard play or situation. My mentality is I love to do hard things. I tend to do what people tell me I cannot do to show them I can.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am very involved in my church youth group on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed leadership skills and teamwork skills through school and sports. Being a catcher, leadership is a requirement. I strive to lead my team on the field and connect with my pitchers to help them in any way I can. I have individual drive and willingness to finish anything I start that CrossFit teaches me every day.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a school that is really big on culture and family. A program that supports their students and players through any situation.
