About Makayla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a speedy utility player with a high game IQ. I love the outfield, but I can get the job done anywhere!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a loud leader who pushes others to be team oriented and upbeat during games.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of Beta Club and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned to be a gentle leader. As my schedule allows, I complete community service by assisting with school based projects such as campus cleanups.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

As competition increases, I have struggled with confidence in my abilities. There is some mental work that I need to work on to stay grounded in my softball capabilities.

What type of college are you looking for?

NCAA Division I and II, JUCO, and NAIA.
