About Mackinzie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Competitive and composed under pressure, I play with intensity and focus. As a catcher, I lead the field, communicate with my teammates, and work to control the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Calm, confident, and team-first, I take pride in leading my teammates and helping everyone perform their best. I’m hardworking, motivated, and always focused on growth both on and off the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Longtime member of the American Legion (10 years), actively involved in community and veterans’ support activities.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed leadership, teamwork, and communication skills through competitive softball and volunteering. I’ve also learned discipline, responsibility, and the importance of giving back to my community, while assisting with softball and baseball lessons and clinics.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Balancing dual enrollment college courses, high school academics, competitive softball, and volunteering at clinics has been a challenge.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m seeking a welcoming and positive college environment with plenty of clubs, events, and activities.
