About Layla

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have been told I have a high softball IQ. I make good choices at the plate and good plays on defense. I have a high batting average and get on base often. I have good speed and use it to put pressure on the defense and to make plays. I can play several positions, including pitcher, middle infield, and outfield.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am dedicated to the sport and have mental toughness. I don't let bad plays impact my mood. I train hard with the team and on my own. I am a positive influence on my team. I like to learn new things and to help others with their game.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed a lot of skills such as leadership in my high school softball season which translated into my club season, teamwork has also been a huge thing, I also do a lot of community service as a way to give back.
