About Kha’Lyn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

i play hard . i play like theres a million college coaches watching me every game and strive to do the best i can , whether that means hitting the people in that are on the bases or diving for balls that are hard to get. i play with the idea of what if i never got to play again.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I feel like my mentality is more of a very energetic never down in a game mentality . I always strive to be the loudest in the dugout cheering on my teammates and on the field. I definitely am the pick me up person and make sure that nobody gets down on their selves.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Delaware heart softball organization , i have received academic all conference awards and honor roll and high honor roll if that means anything

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

i have a lot of leadership and teamwork skills and i do many community services with the nursing homes.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, i have faced many challenges. Alot of mental blocks which is hard to admit but that is the truth. I have had times where playing wasnt fun because i was so i my head after not playing good. Developing from that was very hard but that taught me alot and helped me learn that to be a good player means you have bad days and that mistakes happen. It taught me to never doubt my abilities.

What type of college are you looking for?

i am looking for a college that is gonna help me pursue my academic goals and my athletic goals. i want to play softball for sure but i also want to purse my academics , so im looking for a school that provides both for me with a softball team that is like a family and great coaches.
