The Sharks of 6A Gulf Coast took a major leap last season, improving from eight wins in 2024 to 20 in 2025. This season’s Sharks, in large part thanks to Keyah Kamara, are continuing their winning ways to the tune of an undefeated start to the 2026 campaign. Kamara has made seven appearances thus far this season and is 5-0 with an ERA of 0.50 in those appearances. She has pitched in 42 innings thus far, and has only allowed three earned runs and 11 walks to 90 strikeouts. The EC Bullets Premier Lowe 16U product is not only a force to be reckoned with as a pitcher, but she also plays a strong first base and can make things happen at the plate as well.
