About Kenzie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a versatile utility player with a quick ball transition, competitive, and patient at bat with a discipline approach.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

In all games and on each opportunity whether it is hitting or fielding I always take the field one ball and one game at a time. There are times when I will make mistakes but I always live on the acronym B.A.M.O (Breath, AND/ACKNOWLEDGE, MOVE, ON). It helps me focus on the next pitch or the next ball at play.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Kamiak High School Leadership Program

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Playing in competitive situations taught me how to stay composed under pressure, support teammates, and stay accountable to a group goal. I’ve also built discipline, time management, and resilience through practices, games, and balancing responsibilities on and off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Like most athletes, I’ve faced challenges such as overcoming mistakes, handling pressure during games, and pushing through tough losses or slumps. Those experiences taught me resilience, mental toughness, and how to stay positive and focused while continuing to improve. Softball has helped me grow both as a player and as a teammate.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that provides a supportive team environment, strong coaching, and a balance between academics and athletics.
