How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am 2027 Graduate who bats and throws right handed. I have the skills to play behind the plate and at 1st base. My favorite and best position is Catcher. I feel that my bat is strong and beneficial to my team. I am able to hit for base hits or the long ball when needed. My strongest asset is my softball knowledge and framing.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love to learn about the game and why & how it works. Teaching the game to others (younger or older) helps me grow as a player while helping others. I work hard and push myself to be the best and never settle.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am the Treasurer and Executive Board member for ASB, Director for FCA and a National Honor Society member. I have been student of the month for my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed the skills of being a leader but also knowing when to follow others. Softball, ASB and FCA have taught me to be a leader by example and not a dictator. Working together and problem solving are engrained in everything I do. I have also learned to persevere and work hard to meet my goals in life and not to get distracted.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In 2023 I tore my ACL playing softball. I spent an entire year rehabbing my knee after surgery and getting back to my playing abilities. The road to recovery was not easy and came with struggles both physically and mentally. I pushed through all the tears and self doubt and became my Varsity starting catcher as a Freshman and played the summer months on a Top Tier OC Batbusters Travel team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that would be considered a Mid-Major and has a health science or kinesiology program. I am looking for a college that is bigger but not too big, safe, fun and big on academics.
