Kennedi Johenkins Kennedi Johenkins MIF/RHP Morgan County | 2028 GA has already built an impressive résumé. Last season, she was part of a Morgan County team that was a 2A state runner-up before bringing her softball talents to 5A Eastside. Johenkins primarily operates as an infielder but also pitches and she places plenty of emphasis on the velocity of said pitches. She understands that working in the circle is not only about velocity but pitch location. One can tell by watching her pitch that establishing chemistry with her catcher is extremely important to Johenkins. The Eagles – last season’s 4A state champions – concluded this season with a 21-5 record plus a Region 4-AAAAA championship by going a perfect 12-for-12 against region foes.
