About Kaylin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play fast, smart, and aggressive. I love putting pressure on defenses. whether it’s stretching a single into a double or reading a play before it happens. I take pride in being consistent at the plate, solid on defense, and always communicating on the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m competitive but calm under pressure. I focus on doing my job and helping my team win, no matter what. I stay positive, work hard every day, and lead by example more than words.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m active with FCA and my church’s youth program, and I volunteer alongside my uncle at local veteran events. I also take pride in keeping good grades and have been recognized on the honor roll for my academics.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Softball has taught me how to lead by example, stay accountable, and communicate clearly with teammates. Volunteering and serving through FCA and church activities have helped me grow as a leader off the field too. I’ve learned that leadership is about consistency, attitude, and setting the tone for others.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Balancing school, travel ball, and training has been a challenge, especially with the amount of travel and time away from home. But it’s taught me how to manage my time, stay disciplined, and keep my goals in focus. Every tough schedule or setback has helped me become stronger and more determined.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college with a small town feel and a close knit family oriented team. I want to be part of a program where faith, hard work and relationships matter both on and off the field. The right fit for me is a place that feels like home and pushes me to grow as a player and a person.
