About Kami

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play calm and relaxed but am always in the game no matter what. I love to succeed, but when I’m not performing how I would like, nothing changes. I keep the same attitude on and off the field no matter how I do during the game.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to appear and play the same no matter what the situation is. Whether we’re winning or losing, or I’m 3/3 or 0/3, I want to stay up and continue playing my best. I like to be happy and not down when something doesn’t go my way because in the end, softball is a sport that you’re supposed to have fun playing.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I go to FCA at my school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have began to lead my team by example in the way I carry myself on the field. I always bring a positive attitude and put a lot of work in to build myself as a player and a person. After playing softball for most of my life, I have also developed great teamwork skills for whenever needed.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I haven’t gone through any major challenges, but some may include tournaments where nothing seems to be working and I had to trust my work and get through it. I have also had minor injuries that impacted my playing time or how I play.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any school that will provide the education I need and has a softball team with a great environment. I want to go to a college that needs me and I can help.
