Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
My gameplay style is aggressive and strategic. I focus on developing all aspects of my game through practice, while prioritizing nutrition, mental health, and rest. I aim for consistent contact at the plate, strong defense, and quick reactions in the field. With high energy and communication, I strive to contribute to team success and improvement.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
My softball mentality is centered around resilience, teamwork, and coachability. I approach challenges with a positive attitude and view every game as an opportunity to learn. I thrive on collaboration, valuing teammates' support, and fostering camaraderie. With a competitive spirit, I balance determination and sportsmanship, always striving for growth and enjoyment.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I’m actively involved in leadership roles with Hope Squad, ROX, Reduce, Reuse & Play, Ohio Model United Nation, and Dayton Hunger Fighters. Hope Squad focuses on suicide prevention, ROX empowers adolescent girls, and Reduce, Reuse & Play, in which I serve as the vice president, supports underprivileged athletes. Furthermore, I consistently make the high honor roll, earning an academic letter.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Since eighth grade, I’ve volunteered with Conversation for Change, helping those affected by substance abuse access resources like treatment, food, and support. I’ve also supported Public Health Dayton and Montgomery County at the Annual Overdose Awareness Day. These experiences have deepened my commitment to service, improved my listening and teamwork skills, and broadened my perspective.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
The day before my first summer tournament in 2023, I broke my left arm. During this time I learned pitch calling, third base coaching, and the game’s intricacies from the dugout. However, as PT progressed I needed surgery to regain range of motion in January 2024, requiring more hard work to rehab. Through the difficult and long process, I gained a deeper appreciation and love for the game.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m seeking a college with a competitive softball program where I can grow as an athlete while being part of a supportive team. I also want strong academics with flexibility for student-athletes, as I plan to pursue a career in the medical field. Ultimately, I want a balanced experience that fosters personal and athletic growth.
