About Jordynn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a passionate and dedicated fastpitch softball player who gives 100% every time I step on the field. My primary positions are outfield, third base, and second base. I pride myself on being flexible, coachable, and always ready to step into any role that helps the team succeed. I challenge both myself and my teammates to push beyond limits and reach our highest potential—on and off the field.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I bring a competitive, team-first mentality to the game. I'm driven, focused, and always looking for ways to grow as both an athlete and a teammate. I stay positive under pressure, lead by example, and bring energy to every practice and game. My goal is to not only play hard but to help elevate everyone around me.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my athletic journey, I have developed key qualities such as teamwork, dedication, integrity, leadership, and self-discipline. These traits have shaped my approach to both sports and life, guiding me toward continuous growth and success.

What type of college are you looking for?

I aspire to attend a college/ university with quality programs for either Psychology or Public Health..

Jordynn Carter works primarily as a third baseman and outfielder, but has also shown the versatility to handle second base as well. Her strong defensive skills allow her to move around the diamond with ease. In a recent game in June, Carter showed her range and ability to cover a lot of ground at second base. This season as a sophomore, she split time between the varsity and junior varsity levels for Jack Britt High School. In 10 games at the varsity level, she made four putouts in five total chances and only committed one error. Carter had an .857 fielding percentage with the JV team and an .800 clip with the varsity squad.
