Jayvonne Carter is another 2029 prospect who can get things done in a big way on the softball field. Carter, who is from Missouri, attends Lee’s Summit High School and plays club ball for Top Gun Fastpitch. Primarily a center fielder and shortstop, Carter calls herself a utility player because of her ability to proficiently play all over the diamond, depending on the needs of her coaches. Standing at 5’4″, Carter has a quick first step and a cannon for an arm. She can also put a charge into the ball and hit for extra bases.
