About Isabella

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play a fast, aggressive, high‑IQ game at SS and catcher. I’m a five‑tool player who takes pride in making tough defensive plays, controlling the run game, and attacking at‑bats with a gap‑to‑gap, power‑speed approach while always putting the team first

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a quiet, lead‑by‑example competitor who lets my work and consistency speak first. I’m not a big “flash” player, but I play with a little style and a lot of confidence, staying calm, coachable, and team‑first while doing my job and helping my teammates be successful.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I occasionally help with team or school events when I can, but my main focus has been developing as a student‑athlete.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve developed a lot as a leader and teammate through softball. I’m more of a quiet, lead‑by‑example player, so I focus on showing up prepared, working hard every day, and staying calm in big moments so my teammates can trust me. Over the last few years I’ve also grown in communication, picking teammates up after mistakes, and respecting the standards our coaches set for our program

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I’ve always been on the thinner side and didn’t feel ready to jump into a lot of camps early on. Instead, I focused on getting stronger and really sharpening my defense and hitting. That challenge taught me to be patient, disciplined, and to consistently do the work even when progress feels slow.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a highly competitive four‑year school that plays a fast, explosive style of softball and really values elite defense. I want a program with a strong softball culture, a challenging schedule, and coaches who develop players to compete at the highest level, but also a place where I can be pushed academically and earn a degree that matters after softball.
