About Hazel

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I have been playing club softball since 3rd grade. I am currently a freshman and I start at 1st base for my high school varsity team, Blue Valley Southwest, which has produced several D1 commits the last few years.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am hardworking, a leader, coachable, and a great teammate. I am a multi sport athlete who loves basketball, softball and cross country.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

FCA, basketball, softball, cross country.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I work hard at my grades because I want to play sports in college. I practice at least one of my sports every day. I am a leader, kind, funny and I enjoy helping my teammates succeed.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I have faced adversity I have always pushed myself even more. I do not let disappointment stop me. I work harder, and I do not give up.
