About Hayden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a true student of the game who has a strong passion for the game. I always desire to play at the highest level. Also, I am always looking for ways to improve my game and skills. I am a gap-to-gap hitter with power and a true utility that will find ways to help the team be successful in whichever role is needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to be a strong, aggressive player that is loud and energetic, always putting the team first. My personality is caring, supportive, and being a positive teammate while having a blast playing the best game in the world!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Outside of softball, I am involved in high school soccer and I have been involved in my school’s leadership team in the past. I also enjoy being involved with my church’s youth group.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Throughout my years of playing sports, I have developed many skills including being a loud, vocal leader, becoming a hard worker, and being a great teammate.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I was 12 years old I got cut from my middle school team and it was very hard because I had made the team that previous year. I continued to train and get better after that event. And it motivated me to work and train with a purpose. It felt good when I made the team the next year and when the coaches acknowledged the work I had put in.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a college that will push me to be the best version of myself. I also want a college that will not only help me grow as a player, but will help me grow as a person as well.
