Player Bio

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

In games, I'm a competitor whether I'm pitching or hitting. I always say my happy place is being in the circle. I love to figure out how to get batters out. I give everything I have on the field and do whatever I can to help my team.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

As a teammate, I strive to be a leader but I like to lead by example rather than being loud. I like to be a positive encourager to my teammates. I'm a hard worker and outside of just games and practices, I spend a lot of time working on improving my game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Clubs: HOSA, Key Club, FCA Selected as a Freshman and New Student Mentor I've made all A's every semester so far (freshman and sophomore year)

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have attended two years of a conference called Student Leadership University where I learned a lot about how to lead and how to be a servant leader. I use that a lot on my softball teams as I hope to be a leader to my teammates by working hard, giving effort in all times, and being positive. I also love to serve others through community services projects and volunteer work.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I sustained a back injury that limited me during the state tournament this year, which was difficult to struggle through. I wanted so much to lead my team farther in the tournament but my back injury prevented that. I learned to try to help my team in whatever ways I could and push as much as I could through injury.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to attend a college that will prepare me academically for a health sciences career, most likely attending physical therapy school after my undergraduate program. I also want to play for a competitive team with supportive coaches that care about me as a person and not just a softball player.
