About Gracie

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I work hard on my quick pop times and precise throws to second base, consistently clocking under 2.0 seconds. Hard work has resulted in a .472 avg for my Gametime season and .581 avg with Purcell JH. My work ethic extends beyond the diamond, as I regularly put in extra training hours with Coach Kyle Compton to refine my catching techniques and Mike Barber to maintain a solid batting performance.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a competitive, resilient mindset and hold myself to a high standard while staying composed after mistakes. I’m very coachable and consistently apply feedback to improve. I lead with energy and communication, encouraging my teammates and I bring intensity and effort to every situation on the field.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I recently received an award for writing a piece in the Patriot Pen Essay Contest. I am an ambassador for both Easton and Undedog Athletix. I currently serve as a representative in FCCLA and I am a member of FCA. I also do community service through my church’s youth group.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Reaching out to those that are at a disadvantage or mobility impaired has made me really appreciate all of my blessings.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

This year I transferred schools. Always being up for a good challenge I met it head on and I’m so glad I did.

What type of college are you looking for?

My intentions are to attend a college who has a solid foundation in academics and who also has a competitive softball program.
