About Gia

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

The 3 F''s...focused, fierce and fun! I am always looking to improve and every year, I continue to get better and better. I am working on perfecting my locations for my fast ball, my drop change, drop ball and also my rise ball. I also really enjoy the outfield and of course, batting!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a determined RHP and I love being in the circle! I put in 100% in whatever I do, especially with balancing sports and academics. I have a 100% attendance to all practices and games. When I commit, I commit!!! I know my coach would say I am the hardest worker on the team!

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Musicals, choir, Best Buddies' program, and student of the month!

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am an excellent teammate that is always lifting people up. I am super positive and never quit!

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have not really found my group yet in middle school, so that has been challenging. Many kids from around this area are similar and I am looking for more diversity in high school. My softball team is awesome and we all get along and that has become my core group of friends.

What type of college are you looking for?

Mid-size to large. I am honestly open to anything, but the right "feel" on campus is important to me when I get closer to a decision. I want a strong academically competitive school.
