A proud member of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe and standout sophomore at Tucson High School, Evannie “Ev” Flores has been steadily rising through the ranks as a dominant right-handed pitcher. With a consistent work ethic and years of development under the guidance of coach Ray Camacho, Ev has become known for her command, movement, and poise in the circle. Over the 2023–24 fall and winter seasons, she posted an impressive 13-3 record, logging 77.2 innings with 108 strikeouts, a 1.35 ERA, and a WHIP under 1.00. She followed that up with a strong summer campaign, including a standout performance at the 2024 PGF Nationals Premier bracket, where she helped lead her team to a top-16 finish while striking out 24 batters in just 18.2 innings. With a fastball recently clocked at 67 mph and a proven track record against elite competition, Ev is one of the most promising sleeper prospects to watch heading into the summer club season.
