Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I believe my gameplay style as a pitcher reflects a fierce focus and confidence. When I step into the circle, it’s game time, and everything around me fades into the background. My entire concentration is dedicated to the batter, which shows my mental toughness and sharp focus. I trust my team behind me, knowing they’ve got my back, but it’s about controlling the moment, one pitch at a time.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I do my best to lead with a strong sense of responsibility and care. I am someone who places high value on loyalty and commitment, especially when it comes to guiding and supporting those around me. I believe my leadership style is both nurturing and focused on achieving success for the collective. I try to motivate by example, always striving to ensure the well-being and growth of my teammates.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am committed to my academics and extracurriculars. As an active member of Newman Club and National Junior Honor Society, I demonstrate leadership, service, and a strong sense of community. My academic achievements are notable as well, with four Academic Letters showcasing my dedication and hard work in my studies. Beyond school, I give back by offering pitching lessons to beginners.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
Leadership, Teamwork, Community Service, Discipline & Time Management, Mentorship & Communication, Collaboration, Adaptability, Accountability, Resilience and Trust.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
The mental aspect of pitching can be incredibly tough—there's the pressure of being the focal point of the game, the weight of delivering when the stakes are high, and the challenge of staying focused and composed, especially after a tough inning or an unexpected play. I have learned to embrace these challenges head-on. I have developed resilience by pushing through moments of self doubt.
What type of college are you looking for?
I would love to find a college where I can combine my love for softball with a tight-knit community that makes me feel truly at home. A place where I can thrive, not only in my studies but also on the softball field.
