A catcher, third baseman, and outfielder from Indiana in the 2029 class, Ellie Slaven is a player we believe will be called by college coaches on September 1, 2027. Slaven, who plays school ball for Yorktown High School and club ball for Indy Crush 14U Premier Walker, helped Yorktown win a sectional championship this spring. Primarily a catcher, Slaven helps her pitchers lock in and trust that she will not let anything get by her. She also puts in extra work at lessons in order to make sure that she is consistently improving her skills and getter stronger.
