About Dilynn

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play hard and I am full of energy. When it comes to making a play anything goes. When it comes to my team I am their biggest cheerleader.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have been told I’m super funny. I see myself as a competitive person who loves to make whatever I’m doing fun.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I do run my own non profit to help upfit girls that find it a challenge in the financial aspect of playing softball. I have been nominated All American in softball. Then I was selected for the Select 30 in the All American games. I have been nominated by TopGun sports as the top 50 2028/2029 softball players. I have recieved a letter of achievement by Senator Tim Scott for the nonprofit that I run

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I know that to be a good leader I need to put others first. I know that sounds strange but how can you truly lead someone to do great things if you are leading with a me mentality. I also have learned to lead by example. I can not expect anyone to do something; if I am not going to show them that it can be done. As far as community servic I do run my own nonprofit called SwingingFor Sisters.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In 2023 I suffered both a hamstring injury and a broken eye socket. This was devastating as it severely affected my sports performance. That being said the silver lining is I was able to learn to play first base .

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to play for a college program that has the same pride in its players as it does in its school. I know I can compete at any level so I am really looking for a team that not only challenges me to be better on the field but off the field as well. I also want a team where the coaches value honesty in their communication to their players.
