Expert Analysis
Kayla Lombardo | Prep Softball Scout
Devon Abbott from California is a gritty player in the 2029 class. The catcher and corner infielder attends Scripps Ranch High School and holds a 4.0 GPA there. A skilled hitter who can take the ball to the opposite field with power, Abbott plays club ball for Team San Diego Hill 14U and shines in a big way for her squad. She is an athletic catcher who can get out of her squat quickly and control the game from behind the plate. Expect big things from her in the future.
