About Charlotte

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Fire and intensity on and off the field. Every time I step into the circle it’s game on. When I am in the outfield, I establish a no fly zone!

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Victory in the face of adversity – these are words I live by, both in and out of the circle. My name is Charlotte Savarese, I am a sophomore, uncommitted RHP/OF that plays for Team San Diego Vidano 16U (formerly OC Batbusters Vidano) and Rancho Bernardo High School in San Diego, CA. I am also a type 1 diabetic, but I refuse to let it define who I am. My hobbies are skiing and peer counseling.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Two-time varsity letterman in flag football 2nd team all league defense - freshman year (2024) 2nd team all league offense - sophomore year (2025) Peer counselor for my high school

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been in a leadership role for every team I have been a part of. 100% team player that synergizes team cohesion. As a peer counselor for my high school, I offer my outgoing personality, my academic excellence, and outreach to my high school community on a daily basis. I want to help in any way I can off the field.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at eight years old. For over seven years, I have had to deal with insulin delivery, monitoring, and incorporating all of this into maintaining an active lifestyle. It is an ongoing process, but it is now a part of who I am. I wouldn’t change anything about me, and I know it has made me stronger and who I am today.

What type of college are you looking for?

Although I am interested in playing at any college, I am actively pursuing playing at the D1 level. Ultimately, I want to go to a college that wants and needs its next all-in athlete.
