How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I like close games with high pressure situations. As a catcher I like to be looked to for plays
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a hard worker and have a strong desire to make a positive impact on the world. I volunteer any chance I get and enjoy working with special needs
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
Clubs: HOSA, peer pals, student council, Hancock youth leadership, student leadership academy
Awards: Spanish honor society, Integrity award my sophomore year (only 1 per grade: 300+students) and National Honor society
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I was named captain my sophomore year for my varsity softball team and I feel this was developed through the student clubs listed above. Community service is very important to me as I volunteer any chance I have to help my community and school.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I think we all face challenges and it’s how we respond to those that we face that make us who we are. I had ulnar nerve surgery in January which limited the use of my dominant arm and I was dependent on my mom for everything from driving to washing my hair.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a college with a great culture, competitive environment and most importantly somewhere I can get my education.
