The summer travel season for Charlotte Espich and her Tampa Mustangs Ohana team concluded by going 5-3 at the Alliance Fastpitch Championships in Indiana. Espich caught five of eight would-be base-stealers, and her arm helped her team finish in the top 10 of a field of more than 100 teams. Espich plays catcher and is a corner infielder, and she finished her spring travel schedule with a .986 fielding percentage. She places a great deal of attention on ensuring she has a quick release time after catching pitched balls in case a throw has to be made to throw out a potential base-stealer.
