About Brynlee

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’m a pitcher who throws mid to high 50’s. The pitches I throw are fastball, changeup, drop, and rise. When I’m not pitching I play 1st base. I love pitching and being able to control the pace of the game and the overall vibe of the whole team. I just finished my year with a .623 avg, .652 OBP, 1.016 SLG, 19 1B, 14 2B, 5 3B. My pitching stats were 52.0 IP, 24 BB, 62 SO, 4.712 ERA.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a team first mentality and always support my team through the bad and good games. On the mound I always stay calm under pressure and I have a great sense of pride when I step into that circle. When things aren’t going my way I can easily move onto the next pitch.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve worked on my leadership skills this year with high school softball because we are a young team with a lot of potential. I’ve also been asked to help out with other teams within the program in a leadership role. Volunteered to teach elementary the game of softball for youth sports day in my local community.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I had an on field injury that caused me to miss 6 weeks of the club season, which helped me learn different aspects of the game and become a better teammate. I also traveled out of state with my team to help in anyway that I could.

What type of college are you looking for?

A 4 year program with good academics and good team chemistry, who is involved with their community and lives to give back to the game.
