How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

In the circle as a pitcher I am quiet and composed yet fierce at the same time. Like a switch, when I get back in the dugout then I tend to show more emotion, thanks and encouragement to teammates and coaches. In the batters box and rounding the bases its all excitement and time to clap and be loud and bring the energy.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am typically the more quiet one in a crowd or with teammates. I feel I am also the more analytical and detailed oriented person especially playing sports so I feel the quiet comes from me constantly processing pitch counts, plays, and surroundings. Very rarely do I let my emotions get the best of me and I value hard work and feed off other hard workers that surround me.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

When not playing high school volleyball, basketball and softball, I participate in our schools FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) program. I am also a peer mentor in our schools program which helps those students with social and learning disabilities.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a multisport athlete with many various types and kinds of teammates, I value hard work and courage. The sports I play are team sports so I feel it is important to respect one another and be kind regardless of differences or beliefs. Because of this I have developed better empathy and self awareness as each sport and teammates has there different challenges.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

A Challenge I have faced my whole life is having an August 30th birthday and starting school early. Because of this I have always been the youngest student in school and youngest player on every team in every sport I play. Constantly learning, competing and playing against girls who are older has forced me to grind harder in everything I do just to keep up to their experience and competitiveness.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to find a college that will flourish my academics and help place me in a successful healthcare profession following my collegiate softball career. I want to play for a college softball team that I will fit in with and be an impact player for. I don't just want a roster position, I want a player position who sees the field every game close to home so my parents can come watch many games.
