Bailee Texada, an outfielder for Lady Dukes Lamar 18U, is one of the best outfielders in her class. Known for making great plays, she sets herself apart with her speed and strength. No ball is out of Texada’s range, thanks to her quick feet and incredible ability to track down balls deep in the outfield. The outfielder also stands out offensively as a righty with a powerful swing. The long ball is already in the freshman’s repertoire, but she also has the ability to beat out infield grounders and turn hits into extra bases with her speed and field awareness. Texada has been hard at work this fall, and she appears motivated to improve and is never satisfied with where she is.
