Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I'm an athlete that can play anywhere on the field. I was a SS until 14u, but I am starting in the OF as a 14/15 year old on an 18U A club team. I also started in LF and batted 5th as a freshman for my high school varsity team that went to the Maryland state-semifinals in 2025. My bat has adjusted at each level hitting .315 (w/ 2 hrs) as a freshman in high school and I'm hitting .357 with my club.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I am a pretty quiet, even-keeled person. I never get too high or too low with what's happening on the field. This helps me perform in high leverage situations. I also take instruction and criticism well and I am usually able to incorporate direction from coaches without problem.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
- JV Basketball (9th Grade)
- JV Soccer (9th Grade)
- One Love (in honor of Yeardley Love)
- N.O.W. (Not on Our Watch)
- Free State Softball Camp
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I played 3 sports as a freshman, each having unique challenges. I was able to be a leader on my JV teams while being a sponge playing with older girls on Club and Varsity Softball Teams. I was also invited to work our school's summer softball camp where I was able to pass on what I've learned to younger girls.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Adjusting to high school has presented social and sports-related challenges. For instance, I was asked to play with the Varsity Basketball team for their playoffs. I was not allowed to tryout for the varsity softball team until the Varsity Basketball playoffs were over. Varsity softball tryouts came and went. I had to communicate with the Captains and Head Coach to make sure I got a fair shot.
What type of college are you looking for?
I want to find a school that supports my love of softball and my chosen career path. I also love all sports and would hope to find a school that has a good softball program as well as other sports to support as a fan.
