How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am really good at knowing what to do in situations, and focused on each play. I like helping my teammates and supporting them with every at-bat and after every play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am really calm in tough situations, which has helped me to work out of jams many times while pitching. My coaches have said it's hard to tell if I am nervous or stressed. My mentality is usually 'next pitch'. My teammates think I am pretty funny because I like to keep it light in the dugout and I really enjoy our time together.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Yes, I am in Best Buddies to help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and also Leo Club for leadership and service activities, but I have not received any awards.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I think leadership is the best quality that I have developed. My teammates look to me to come through in tough spots.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

We had one of the best pitchers in the state join our high school team last year and the coach had her pitch in almost every game last season. He asked me to pitch JV for most of my sophomore season, which was tough since I played Varsity my whole freshman year. I just did my best and helped our JV team go 10-1-1.

What type of college are you looking for?

Most of the schools I have liked so far are in the Mid Atlantic area. I like a decent sized campus that has newer facilities, and I also want to go somewhere with a few thousand students so there will be lots of opportunities to meet new people and learn new things. My high school has about 2000 students so I would prefer something that size or larger.
